Transform Dance Videos into AI-Enhanced Audiovisual Pieces with Uisato Studio

Job to be done: Transform a dance performance video into a multi-angle audiovisual piece with a specific aesthetic using AI

🇳🇬 Ways to use this in Nigeria

Ideas to get you started, adapt to your situation.

  • Entrepreneur

Produce visually striking, AI-enhanced dance reels for your Instagram or YouTube channel, applying a unique aesthetic like a 'robot dancer' to attract a larger audience and stand out as a performing artist.

  • Student

Transform your dance group's performance video into an AI-enhanced piece with a futuristic 'bio-tech' look for your university's talent show or a viral TikTok challenge, making your entry unforgettable.

  • Small business

Create engaging, AI-stylized promotional videos of your dance studio's student performances or class routines for social media, attracting new students with a modern, unique visual appeal.

What you’ll get

Turn an ordinary phone recording of a dance into a stylized, multi-angle AI video, for example your dancer reimagined as a sleek robot or a bio-tech creature, without expensive gear or a studio. The trick is “motion control”: the AI copies the real movement from your video but applies a brand-new look you choose. It is intermediate: a few moving parts (clips, reference images, a prompt, editing), but no coding.

Tools you need

  • A phone camera (iPhone or any): to record the original dance.
  • Uisato Studio (freemium): the AI tool that does the motion-control transformation.
  • Gemini (freemium): optional, to tweak a reference frame into the look you want.
  • Editing software (freemium): CapCut or DaVinci Resolve (both have free versions) to assemble the final clips.

Steps

  1. Record the dance: film the performance on your phone. Good light and a steady frame help.

  2. Split it into clips: cut the video into pieces. Use 3 to 10 second clips if you want to introduce a new camera angle (via a reference image), or up to 30 seconds if you want to keep the original camera angle.

  3. Open Uisato Studio and pick Kling Motion Control: this mode copies movement from one video onto a new look.

  4. Set the reference video: for each clip, give your original dance clip as the reference video, this is the motion the AI will follow.

  5. Set the reference image (the look): give a target image showing the aesthetic you want (robot, bio-tech, and so on) as the reference image. Either use Uisato’s “capture frame” feature to restyle one of your video’s frames with Gemini, or bring your own styled images (this is also how you introduce new camera viewpoints).

  6. Write a short style prompt: describe the look you want, beyond just the motion. A starting point:

An avant-garde humanoid android performer dancing, following the original choreography
exactly, with subtle robotic precision. Sleek metallic finish, cinematic lighting.

Keep it balanced: enough detail to set the style, but let the motion control do the movement.

  7. Choose the Kling-3 model and generate: the standard (“std”) Kling-3 model works well; a premium variant gives higher quality. Generate the styled version of each clip.

  8. Assemble the final piece: bring all the generated clips into your editing software and cut them together into the finished multi-angle video.

Notes & variations

  • Free editing: CapCut (mobile and desktop) or DaVinci Resolve (desktop) replace paid editors at no cost.
  • Use Wi-Fi: AI video generation and uploads use a lot of data, so do the heavy steps on Wi-Fi.
  • Common pitfall: clips that are too long when changing camera angle. Keep those to 3 to 10 seconds so the motion transfer stays clean.
  • Tip for better results: prepare your reference images carefully. A clear, well-styled target image is what gives the AI a strong, consistent look to apply.
